New York State Summer School of the Arts

While working as artistic residential life staff at NYSSSA I was able to facilitate creative programing for my residents in addition to their classes. We explored the use of found and repurposed materials, and how to transform them. I taught my residents lessons in structural lashing as well as open faced plaster molds to cast paper into. We took many nature walks to gather materials and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounded us.
