Children's Museum Of Art

Through the Children’s Museum of Art, at there Governor’s Island outpost, I collaborated with young artists as we considered the the geographic term “Archipelago.” By definition Archipelago refers to a group of islands, it just so happens to be the geographical makeup of New York City. Drawing inspiration from the history and natural beauty that surrounded us on Governor’s Island, young artists made their own fictional islands, creating maps, sketches and 3D models- culminating in a final group display that formed our very own Archipelago.
